Yes I'm Alive
Yeah I know it's been a while, sorry about that, anyway, life is good. I've been out for 20 months now, I'm in Port Angeles, and life is good. I'm not one for super long emails but I'll give you a good story.
Let me first say that missions are hard, I think I have put that in most of my emails at this point but I cannot stress that enough. It's awesome. The hardest times I have found have been the most rewarding, I learn the most, it's always at the breaking point when I see the hand of the Lord in the work that we are doing. The biggest thing I think I have learned this last little bit is that this isn't my work, or President Mett's work, or the bishop's work, it's the Lord's work, and he will make it happen. I have found that I literally can't do this myself. I mean honestly think about it. you have a whole city of people living normal happy lives and some teenager knocks on your door saying they have the answers for the deepest questions of your soul? Are you kidding? How on earth would that work? Why would you listen to some 19-22 year old kid who says that his message can change your life? I know I wouldn't under normal circumstances and quite honestly I don't think ANYONE would listen to that, unless they felt something, unless they felt the love that their Heavenly Father has for them. When I look at things in that perspective I know that missionaries who are being their best can never fail, because the Lord will always direct them to the people that need it.
Sorry for the rant, anyway I'm loving life, hope y'all are doing well and as always here's some pictures for ya.
