I bet you're wondering why the title of my email is in Khmer (Cambodian) yeah so 2 weeks ago I got transferred in to Tacoma South, as a new Zone Leader, I thought that was going to be hard because Tacoma South is the biggest zone in the mission so I was already freaking out. After that I found out I was in a Khmer area, and I was certain I was going to have to learn how to speak Khmer. The same thing happened to my companion, Elder Echols, a couple transfers ago. He got told halfway through his mission, "yeah so you're learning Cambodian now, have fun." Luckily President Metts told me I don't have to learn because most of the Khmer people speak English. I do wonder though why he was asked to learn and not me.     The people here are awesome though, you've never met so many loving people in your life. The work is hard because, while we do work with English, our main focus is the Khmer people, and it's hard to find them, our area is the whole mission, so tha...

As you can probably tell from the title of my email, I haven't written in a while. Sorry.     Where to start... Well I hit a year as of the 11th, that was really neat! I burned a shirt at the Fire Commissioners house, who is the coolest member of all time. I have a new companion named Elder Payne, so it's awesome whenever we go anywhere and I can say "I'll bring the payne"      Yeah, well this is the serious part of the email, so if you don't like that skip to the pictures. Missions are really hard. I know everyones heard that time and time again, but holy cow, it's really hard. So if it really is that hard why are there still so many doing it. I can truly say that I am happier now than I have ever been in my whole life. To me that speaks volumes because I'm generally a happy person.
