I hope everyone is doing well this week. I want to start off by saying thank you to everyone who read my email last week and told me how much it meant to them. I wrote that email in about 5 minutes and I didn't think much of it, and it reminded me that people at home read these things and care about me. So thank you, this will be a longer one.     This week was actually pretty crazy. We worked really hard, and we are definitely seeing lots of success from what we are doing. I have been told that this area has an average Baptism rate of 1 person a year, and that one person was baptized before I got to this area. It is an absolute miracle we put someone on date as fast as we did when I got here. I thank the big man every day for letting me be apart of that.      This week we have been teaching a lot about faith. I have learned a lot about that as well. There is a scripture I really like about it and it's Ether 12:6 it says  "And now, I, Moroni, would speak so...

Hey hey hey, this week was actually awesome. To start off, South Hill is nothing like Gig Harbor, the people here aren't as well off and in my opinion they are more open to receiving our message. Elder South is my companion, he works really hard. We have now in the 4 days I have been here found 4 new people to teach, and put one person on date for January 24th to be baptized. I'm telling you, miracles are happening here.     I really like short emails but I want to talk about how far I feel like I have come as a missionary. It took me leaving Gig harbor to realize how much I have changed, I know for a fact my work ethic is a lot better (and if you knew me before it wasn't hard to improve what it already was) I feel happier, and I feel a lot more focused and that doesn't happen very often. I have realized that my testimony of the Church has grown a lot more since I have started my mission as well. It's not just something I am willing to defend, I know the Big Man has...

What a week ladies and gentlemen, I got my transfer call, just found out they're demolishing the Gig House. Also happy new year.      Saturday was transfer calls, and I'm finally leaving gig harbor, to South Hill, I'll be the new District Leader over there so that's awesome. My companions name is Elder South, I haven't met him yet but I'm sure he is a righteous dude.      Second, the Gig House is such a dump its getting sold and they're demolishing the house, the land is much more valuable than the house, so I will be one of the last people to live in it. Kinda cool I get to leave with that legacy     I'm hoping the work speeds up there I'll be honest it's been kind of a struggle up here but the lord provides a way, I'll leave you with a couple pictures, I hope you all had a swell New Year!
